History

The Vines were planted in 2000 on a gentle south facing slope overlooking Pitsford reservoir with the first crop harvested in 2004.Both Mr WA Hulme & Mrs FE Hulme are vineyard managers who would be pleased to show you around the vineyard.(Normally no charge.)

There are 1000 productive vines and a further 4000 planted in 2008 which will commence producing grapes in 2011.We have three grape varieties with a further new variety planted in 2008 called solarice .This is a very aromatic early variety  suitable to our climate. We produce three wines being a still white wine similar to Pouilly Fume(Fleur Fields), A white bubbly similar to Champagne (Champs D ‘Amour) and a Pink Bubby similar to pink Champagne(Champs D’Amour Rose’)The wine is currently produced at Three Choirs but plans are in place to produce the wine in Brixworth in the near future
